Fireproof Solution

A fireproof solution that blocks fire spread through penetrations and along cable pathways

ALL IN ONE FIRESTOP ZERO SYSTEM

An Independent Fireproof System for Every Situation

Firestopping and fire barriers are separate systems with different applicable regulations and installation locations. Neither replaces the other, and both may be applied together in the same space depending on site conditions.

SYSTEM

Firestop System

Blocking spread through fire-compartment penetrations

Firestopping seals the gaps around pipe and cable penetrations in walls, floors, and slabs with fire-resistant filler, blocking fire from spreading into adjacent fire compartments.

Its modular cover structure allows the same installation method regardless of the penetration size.

Under Article 52-5 of the Building Act, only
quality-certified materials may be installed at fire-compartment penetrations. EYECAPKOREA supplies only materials that have passed performance testing to this standard.

SYSTEM

Fire Barrier

Heat-Expanding Silicone Foam "Fire Cover" Development

When exposed to flame, the foam expands to more than 10 times its size, forming a solid char layer that physically blocks flames from spreading along cables and stops repeated re-ignition.

Being a silicone material, it has passed hazardous-gas testing for safety and stays durable without breaking down even in high-heat, high-humidity conditions.

Supplied as a finished product, it also reduces quality variation caused by installer skill.

A & D Upper & Lower Support Frames

Steel support frames treated with flame-retardant silicone or powder coating

B W-Shaped Foam

Heat-expanding silicone foam designed in a W-shaped structure

C Straight Foam

Cables Can Be Installed With the Fire Cover Already in Place

The cover height can be adjusted with fastening bolts depending on the amount of cable laid. Installation is simple regardless of cable spec or quantity, and no separate maintenance is needed when cables are added later.

Before Cable Insertion

01 Before Cable Insertion

The W-shaped foam is positioned inside the cover

During Cable Insertion

02 During Cable Insertion

As the cable is inserted, the foam is pushed up and out of the way

After Cable Insertion

03 After Cable Insertion

The foam presses tightly against the shape of the cable

Superior Durability and Long Lifespan

Excellent water and moisture resistance maintains performance over time, giving it a lifespan of 20+ years compared to 5 years for flame-retardant paint.

Easy Installation

Installs on existing cables without a specialized contractor, staying easy to install even in poor site conditions.

Flame Propagation Test Compliant

Passed the IEEE 1202 vertical tray flame propagation test and the KS C IEC 60332-3-24 test.

Shielding Char Layer and Re-Ignition Prevention

Forms a shielding char layer that physically blocks the spread of combustion and withstands repeated re-ignition while power is supplied.

No Maintenance for Cable Expansion

Requires no separate maintenance for cable expansion or additional laying after the initial installation.

Reduced Installation and Maintenance Costs

Cuts installation cost by 50% compared to flame-retardant paint, with zero maintenance cost for cable expansion.
